Debates Metodológicos en la Historia Económica

Este trabajo examina las principales divergencias metodológicas en la historia económica del siglo XX, centrando la atención en el contraste entre la tradición anglosajona, de corte analítico y formalista, y la europea continental, más cercana a enfoques humanistas e interpretativos. A través de un análisis comparativo basado en fuentes primarias y secundarias, se reconstruyen los vínculos epistemológicos entre estilos historiográficos y tradiciones filosóficas como la filosofía analítica y la filosofía continental. Se argumenta que dichas diferencias no solo responden a criterios técnicos, sino a climas culturales, estructuras institucionales y proyectos de conocimiento distintos. Lejos de ser una oposición absoluta, el trabajo identifica procesos recientes de convergencia metodológica, impulsados por la interdisciplinariedad y los desafíos de la complejidad. Finalmente, se propone una lectura pluralista y crítica que reconozca las tensiones sin cancelar las posibilidades de diálogo entre enfoques. La historia económica aparece así como una disciplina en transformación, atravesada por disputas conceptuales y aperturas renovadas.
